MCA Minus Five, Friday Evening
Faith hated getting calls from the ex. But this one was at least fairly interesting. Local hotspot, if she was in the area anyway, blah blah blah.

She was tempted to tell him he was a mediocre lay, but skipped it. Vampiric activity, probably a nest, somewhere on Mada-- wherever they were. Good enough. Time to go hunting.

She considered her phone for a few, and then dialed a couple of numbers. Robin didn't say she couldn't make a girls' night out of it, right?

Ghanima looked up from her reading to glare at it for a moment before picking it up. "Do I want to know?"

Really, if it were her brother, her friends, or her students, that covered it.

There was a pause, and then an almost audible smirk.

"If you don't know, I'm not telling," Ghani sing-songed, already abandoning her book to go for her weapons stash. She was wearing her crysknife, but she doubted that would be enough. "Why? Are you asking me out, Miss Faith?"

"I have charm?" Faith asked, laughing. "Fuck. Someone shoulda told me. Let's see. You come here whenever you're ready, that part's easy. Vamps die three ways: head cut off, stake to the heart, holy water. I got crossbows and stakes and big fuck-off knives, so ... bring any weapons you feel like packin'. Sometimes demons hang around vamp hotspots, so it can't hurt to have other shit handy, too. Sunlight, that kills vamps, too, but that's not portable so it didn't go on the list. Finding a nest during the daytime can be a seriously good time."
